How much are your cookies?
Prices vary to each cookie order depending on the detail and level of custom artistry involved with each unique set that is handcrafted and designed specifically for you.
Full-size cookies start at $65/dozen and there is a 2 dozen minimum purchase required for all custom orders.
How do I place an order?
To inquire on a custom cookie order of your own, please click on the Custom Cookie Inquiry tab. There you will see a contact form you can fill out with some basic information that I'll need to give you an appropriate quote for your order. Please allow up to 3 business days for a response.
Is there a minimum per order?
Yes, there is a 2 dozen full-size cookie order minimum.
How far in advance should I place an order?
The more notice the better! It is never too early to book your next event.
Do you require a retainer fee?
Yes, a 50% non-refundable retainer fee is required to hold a spot on my calendar. Your order is NOT confirmed until the retainer fee has been paid. An invoice will be sent to your email address and you will have 48 hours to complete the requested invoice. After 48 hours a reminder will be sent to pay your 50% retainer fee. After 72 hours you will be notified that because of the unpaid invoice you have forfeited your date/spot and it will go to the next inquring customer.
The remaining balance on your order will need to be paid 1 week before you pickup your cookies. If the order date is within 2 weeks, full payment is required. You may cancel your order at anytime but the 50% retainer fee will not be refunded at any time for any reason.
What flavor are your cookies?
My signature sugar cookie flavor is a soft, delicious buttery, vanilla bean, almond sugar cookie topped with vanilla royal icing or american buttercream. My cookies are not nut or gluten free. I do not offer nut free, gluten free nor vegan cookies.
How do your cookies come packaged?
To ensure the absolute most freshness, all cookies come individually bagged, heat sealed and will come packaged all together in a box or basket. Cookies can also be individually tied with a bow for an additional $5/dozen. If you would like to add ribbon or other tag and gift wrapping options, please include these details when first placing your order.
Are your cookies nut free?
-NO- My signature cookie dough has almond extract in it and we are not a nut free home or cookie kitchen. I do offer different cookie dough flavors that are nut free, but STILL my kitchen and most of my equipment are NOT.
My cookies also contain: EGG, DAIRY, NUT & WHEAT.
Do you offer Gluten Free cookies?
No. Because my home and kitchen are not gluten free, the risk of cross contamination is too high-risk.
Can you put photo's on cookies?
Yes, I own a laser ink jet edible printer and can put practically anything you want on a cookie.
Where are you located? Do you deliver?
I am a certified MSU MI Cottage Food Law baker operating out of my home in Grand Blanc, MI where I have a separate cookie kitchen and cookie room, that is located in our basement and separate from the rest of our home. All orders are currently porch pickup only at my home at a predetermined time (to be arranged the week before your pickup, after final payment has been received).
No, I do not offer delivery.
Can you ship your cookies?
Katie The Cookie Lady operates under the Michigan Cottage Food Laws. My cookies are made in a kitchen that has not been inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development. Therefore, I am not permitted to ship my cookies. So sorry!
COOKIE PICK UP DISCLAIMER: All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Please keep in mind that any unclaimed cookies left 24 hours after my pick up window ends that have not made alternate arrangements are to be forfeited with no refund.
